The ocean is most likely going to be closed for business for the next couple of days as Hurricane Humberto and tropical storm Imelda make their way by the east coast. Both storms are forecast to head out to sea with no landfall, but we will still sea high seas and heavy surf for a few days. The weekend weather for our Ocean City Inshore Classic Tournament looks fantastic, but I’m going to leave it at that so I don’t jinx it.
Captain Kane Bounds of the Fish Bound has had some awesome fishing this week with boat limits of both flounder and sea bass with some very nice fish in the mix.

Captain Dave Caffrey of On the Run had a nice afternoon on the ocean today with a limit of flounder up to 6 pounds in just about 2 hours of fishing.

Anglers fishing with Captain Jason Mumford aboard Lucky Break had another great day on the jetty with sheepshead, tog, bluefish and some big spot.

Captain Nick Sampson of MobSquad Fishing put his folks on a nice pile of sea bass this morning.

Brian Reynolds and Kevin had a nice morning at the route 50 bridge with some bluefish and striper action.

David Moore has been having some great luck with the red drum on Assateague Island this week releasing fish between 48″ and 51″.
