Boy….it was crotch pot hot today outside! Muggy, temps in the 90s and some pretty wicked stormage rolling through the area. It was definitely a day to keep you eye to the sky and have an evacuation from the water plan. For boats out in the ocean, it was keep an eye on the radar and avoid the orange spots if possible.
Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler had to dodge a few of those storms today, but he still had some good fishing for his folks with sea bass, some flounder and even spadefish coming over the rail.
Shaun Flaherty fished the route 50 bridge last night where he landed this keeper rockfish that was just under 31″. Thanks to Big Bird Cropper for the pic!
Max Canlins sent in this pic of his buddy Enqi who landed a keeper flounder in the Assateague surf on a swim shad.
The Tortuga fishing out of Bahia Marina has been seeing some good flounder fishing on most trips with some keepers in the mix.
