Headache Kinda Day

Headache Kinda Day

Check out the new Van Staal spinning reel available at Atlantic Tackle!

Yesterday’s front left some pretty strong wind in it’s wake for this morning and that is never good for fishing conditions.  We had a steady 15-20 with gusts to 25 today so it was a headache kinda day for anyone that got out.  The good news is that the wind is already dropping out and tomorrow’s opening day of sea bass looks like its going to be doable.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break worked hard for his fish today in the windy conditions, but he was able to find a nice snapper bluefish and a keeper flounder for his crew.

Jon Fremming caught this 20″ keeper flounder fishing the channel off of Harbor Island on 14th street.
