Sunny, no wind and I walked down to bring the trash can back to the house and I burnt my feet up on the street. Damn. It was the second day of this heatwave and we had temps in the mid and upper 90s with a heat index at almost 110 this afternoon. That’s hot, but with little to no wind it was another good day to get out there and do some fishing, and fishing was good.
Captain Dale Lisi of the Foolish Pleasures had a fantastic day offshore for his anglers putting them on a white marlin release, a blue marlin release and seven fat yellowfin tuna.
Anglers fishing on board the MARLI today with Captain Mark Hoos had an awesome day with the yellowfin tuna putting 13 beautiful fish in the fish box.
Captain Alex Beane of the Boss Hogg put this group on four nice yellowfin tuna on yesterday’s trip to the canyons.

Captain Dave Caffrey of On the Run Charters had a great morning over ocean structure for his group with two sea bass, 10 triggerfish and 16 keeper flounder up to 6 pounds.

Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing has seen some great shooting for southern and cow nosed rays on the last several trips to the south bay.
