Well it wasn’t a very exciting day at the scales for day 3 of the MidAtlantic because 0, yes zero boats fished. The forecast for offshore was absolutely terrible today as the front and storms that pushed through here last night made their way off the beach so not some, but all boats decided to take a lay day. It’s obvious to assume that the leaderboard looks the same after three days as it did after two. Here’s what boats will be looking to beat on what will be two busy days of fishing tomorrow and Friday.

Outside of the tournament it was worth the delay for Captain Monty Hawkins and the crew of the Morning Star as Captain Monty departed two hours later than normal and reported that it was nice off the beach. Jack Cover of Fallston, MD had Morning Star’s largest fluke of the year so far. – a 25.5 incher. Also pictured are Mike Christman & Justin McKale of Blandon, PA – Joey Cover of Annapolis – Steve Dagostino of Reading, PA – & Mike MARTIN of Dillsburg, PA. Captain Monty also reported that two anglers caught their four fish limit of flounder today.

Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters put Jesse on two nice keeper flounder this morning while drifting live bunker.

Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing is good at putting clients on some nice shooting, but today he went above the call of duty and put this group on a big 96 pound southern ray.

My commish David Wells of DW Mowing was on the pond again today enjoying some casting and pulled this lunker of a large mouth bass out.
