The weekend forecast has certainly deteriorated over the past few days. Earlier in the week our forecast was for some wind but the new forecast is ridiculous. We’ve already had four days where nobody has left the inlet and that will continue into early next week. It looks like the next fishable day in the ocean is going to be Wednesday, MAYBE Tuesday. With a good chance of high winds, rain and coastal flooding this weekend, I don’t see anyone fishing so it’s a good thing the NFL season has started again.
There is light at the end of the tunnel. As you can see below, Tuesday’s forecast shows the wind blowing from a direction with no E in it and the speed is down to 5-15. There is fishing on the horizon!
