Jumbo Releases

Jumbo Releases

Delmarva is looking at some pretty crappy weather right now and has been over the past 24 hours or so.  Depending on where you live the weather ranges from decent snow fall totals to rain, but everyone is now looking at windy conditions as this winter blast moves off the beach.  Before the storm started yesterday Captain Monty Hawkins was able to steam the Morning Star to the east where he had a good day of fishing with some jumbo fish.

Right decent bite before this blow. Had some jumbo releases on here today. Among his many releases, Tommy Lee of Queens NY let a 27 inch female swim away with an ALS tag. Fish was about 15 pounds. Because we do our tog Fish-Pool by length, his fish took the money. George Steiger of Belcamp, MD & Chuck Burnham of Belair, MD also released a couple big girls. About half our 22 tags today were over 19 inches.
Amazingly, Granpa (Bill Keefer) of Mechanicsburg PA had our largest fish kept today. You just never know when orneryness will come out on top. Also in our group shot are Jeff Corder of Stevensville, MD – Andrzeg Wysocki & Marian Szymanski of NY – George Steiger – Bernie O’Brian of Oxford, NJ – Tommy Lee – & Chuck Burnham..
Cheers
