Captain Jeff Coats of Pitboss Fishing sent me a report of some awesome striper fishing at the route 90 bridge today. Captain Jeff took his wife Karen out to enjoy her day off and was rewarded with some really terrific fishing.
Steady south breeze and cooler temps than Monday with a tad dirtier water, but we wanted to go and enjoy the day. Lost track at 32 small rockfish caught and released with nothing bigger than about 20″. All fish were caught on Big Bird Cropper’s world famous Roy Rig. Awesome afternoon on the water!!
