It was warm and humid, but it was another nice one out there today with little to no wind and sunny skies all day. Us fishermen will take a carbon copy of it every day for the rest of the summer.
I got a text this morning with a very, very rare catch from the Ocean City Inlet and if I didn’t get a photo I may not have believed it. Captain Jason Mumford of the Lucky Break had Mark Debinski of Bluewater Advisory and his wife Janet out this morning and they had an awesome trip. The couple had six keeper flounder, released well over 20 shorter fish and had a legal sized sea bass over 13″. They also caught a few tautog. All of the action took place in the OC inlet.

This afternoon, Captain Jason had some more good action with throwback stripers and a couple of flounder up to 23″ and 5 pounds.

Captain Will on Local Hooker had a nice day for his anglers today putting them on some nice keeper flounder.

Caleb Powell and Joey Marowski hit the OC inlet this evening and had some good action with the keeper flounder as well.

Anglers fishing with MobSquad Fishing had a good inshore trip today with some big bluefish in the mix.

Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing showed his shooters a good time both day and night with good shooting for rays and hound fish.
