The wind just has not quit blowing, but temperatures have been decent and the rain has let up a little lately so some folks have been taking advantage. If you are out fishing tomorrow don’t look directly at the eclipse FYI.
Morgan Mericle and Tyler Clazey had a great day of tautog fishing from the route 50 bridge in yesterday’s wind. The guys had a load of tog with seven keeper sized fish over 16″ which they released because they were mid spawn. Pretty work guys!
Captain Kane Bounds and the crew of the Fish Bound have been doing some damage to the tautog in the ocean lately. Captain Kane has put his anglers on good fishing when the weather allows and they are seeing fish up to as large as 14 pounds. Larger fish are being safely released.
