Get geared up for rockfish and bluefish at Atlantic Tackle!
We are certainly not having the weather that we hoped for on the Memorial Weekend. Today was not the greatest with rain this am, wind this afternoon and rain and wind this evening. Kristen and I took a short trip to try for some rockfish, but when the rain started spitting we were out. Hopefully tomorrow shapes up a little better and this northeast wind get out of here soon.
I love seeing kids in the report and I love seeing kids have success with our Deadly Tackle stuff so I really love this first report! Young Chloe Weller was fishing with David Weller this morning and was all smiles after she lucked into this 18″ keeper flounder on the Deadly Double with a white Gulp. Nice work Chloe!
Reece Schindler was fishing with Rich Daiker at the south jetty this morning when he lucked into a big 42″ rockfish on a crank bait. The fish was safely released to swim again.
This crew fishing on board the Tortuga out of Bahia Marina found a keeper flounder on this afternoon’s trip.
Captain Chase Eberle wasn’t able to get out to the sea bass ground today thanks to the northeast wind, but he did say the clams were snapping in the back bay.
