Late November Tuna and Mahi

Late November Tuna and Mahi

It’s hard to believe that on November 29th I am reporting tuna and mahi being caught out of Ocean City….and we’re not talking about a boat leaving Ocean City inlet and running 200 miles to the Flemish Cap and back to say they caught tuna out of Ocean City.  We are talking about a day trip to the Poorman’s Canyon and back to the dock before 5 o’clock.  Awesome stuff!

Captain Jeremy Blunt fished the Wrecker today out of The Ocean City Fishing Center and had a great day in the Poorman’s.  Captain Jeremy and mate Steve Moore put their crew of Al Smith, Gary Sappington, Zak Smith, Keith Mummert, Jeremy Moore and junior anglers Brody and Jamison Moore on three yellowfin tuna and 20 mahi.  Here are Brody and Jamison with today’s catch.

I also hear that Josh Farr and Mike Karsnitz had nine yellowfin aboard the Fugitive today.

It’s a real treat to have tuna and mahi within reach of Ocean City inlet this late into the season and we’ll take it as long as it lasts!
