The weather is certainly changing for the worse today. Right now at my crib there is a light rain, its chilly and the wind is picking up all the time. A pretty significant storm system is going to roll through tonight and bring more rain and what could be very strong winds so I don’t expect many folks to be fishing for the next few days especially if they have to get any Christmas shopping done……like me.
Captain Monty Hawkins of the Morning Star was out on the ocean today and reported “meh” fishing. They did manage to snag a couple of tautog, but it surely wasn’t as exciting as yesterday’s sea bass action.
Hi Scott,
Carried a bunch of fellows toggin today. Some very familiar with the ways of Mr. Chiseltooth..
Then had MD DNR show up again looking for their last few samples – had the 007 license to kill aboard!
But it was not to be. Tog had lockjaw today. Nicked a few. Most trying fishery I know.
Young Kim of VA Beach had today’s pool winner, an 18.5 male tog. Also pictured are David O’Malley of Stevensville, MD & William Summers of Denton, MD.
