Makos, Bluefins and Yellowfins

Makos, Bluefins and Yellowfins

We are off to an early start to the offshore season here in Ocean City and there are several different species of fish to target for anglers wanting either sharks or tuna fish.

Anglers on the Spring Mix II out of the Ocean City Fishing Center killed one mako at 107 pounds, had 3 other mako releases and released 8 blue sharks.  The sharks were caught on the edge of the Baltimore canyon.  Anglers included Ayrton Pryor, Jacob Lewis, John Lewis and Scott Carstairs.

The Boss Hogg fishing out of Sunset Marina had a great day with the tuna fish today catching 12 yellowfin and 2 bluefin.  Captain Brian Porter found 64 degree water in the Baltimore canyon and put his crew on the meat.
