Well we’ve been waiting over a week for the wind to calm down enough for someone to head out and find out if the tuna fish are still around. Today that window of opportunity opened up enough for Captain Mark Hoos and the crew of the Marli to head out and give it a shot. I am very happy to report that Captain Mark not only found the yellowfin, he slammed them!
From Captain Mark….
Mike Bostic and his crew from Church Hill Maryland had a fish catching day on the charter boat MARLI with Captain Mark Hoos and Mate Mark Stephens. They landed 18 Yellowfin Tunas and 9 Mahi trolling in the Washington Canyon.
If the weather cooperates a couple of boats including Marli and Wrecker are planning on giving it a go tomorrow. I’ll let you know what’s up tomorrow evening.
