I don’t have a bunch to report on tonight due to several boats fishing in the Big Fish Classic which is a 36 hour tournament that you are allowed to fish overnight. The sea conditions will allow for most boats to stay out overnight tonight, so we’ll see how they do and let you know.
The Spring Mix II out of The Ocean City Fishing Center with captains Chris Watkowski and Steve Selander had a great day fishing for marlin in the Poor Man’s Canyon today. Spring Mix II two white marlin releases and a blue marlin release. The blue marlin was estimated at 650 pounds and was released after a 2 1/2 hour fight. All of the marlin were caught on ballyhoo.

Inshore Captain John Prather had another good day of flounder fishing and bow fishing for southern rays. Captain John put his am party on several throwbacks and four keepers, and this afternoon was able to shoot three nice southern rays.

I got a great report from my buddy DW Mowing saying that the flounder fishing at the African Queen wreck site was awesome yesterday. DW and his crew finished their trip with 11 keepers total on the day.

Captain Monty Hawkins on board the Morning Star has been having some good luck with the flounder as well. You can read his fish report here Morning Star Fish Report.
