I received two fishing reports today…….from about 1,046 miles apart. The first was an epic day of sail fishing on board Rhonda’s Osprey with Captain Joe Drosey. Rhonda’s Osprey is fishing out of Singer Island, FL right now and today they caught and released 14 sailfish!
In another report, approximately 1,046 miles to the north, my buddy Eric Sexton had an epic day of his own. Eric, Benny Bennington and JC Dennis had a repeat of last weekend’s perch fishing. The crew fished the Nanticoke river out of Sharptown, MD and caught several white perch and yellow perch, only keeping the larger fish. They also reported a “ton” of little rockfish. The white perch and rockfish will probably be around for a little while, but the yellow perch fishing will slow down shortly as their spawn is almost over.
