Thanks to the weather that is forecast for the weekend there has been an update to the fishing and scales days for the Ocean City Marlin Club’s 57th Annual Labor Day White Marlin Tournament. Anglers will now be able to fish 2 of 4 days September 4, 5, 6 or 7. Scales action will take place at Sunset Marina each night from 5:30 to 7pm.
It was another terrific day in the canyons for mahi, not so much for the marlin. The marlin bite slowed up quite a bit with most boats catching one or two. The mahi fishing was phenomenal once again however.
The Moore Bills out of the Ocean City Fishing Center with Captain Rob Skillman had an ok day with the white marlin releasing two, but had an awesome day with the mahi catching 50. Mate Stevie said that overall the rods stayed bent and the charter went home with dinner and smiles.

The Boss Hogg out of Sunset Marina had a good overnight trip releasing one white marlin and catching their limit of mahi. Here is a cool night shot of a bunch of tinker mackerel up in their lights and the nice white they released.

Pictured below are Madison, Parker and Mason with a couple of mahi and a beautiful 82 pound wahoo that they weighed at Bahia Marina.
