Our last day of vacation was one of my busier work days with several texts and reports of the first blue marlin of the season. It’s nice to be able to communicate with everyone from another country six hours ahead, but it will be more nice to be home this evening!:)
The first blue marlin of the season was caught on board the Reel Current with Captain Josh Lowery and mate Mason Howell. If the chips fall right Reel Current may qualify for $2,500 from the Ocean City Marlin Club. They’ve got bragging rights either way. Congratulations! Thanks to Kurt Howell for forwarding the pic.
The crew of spring mix two with Captain, Chris Watkowski and mates Ben Harding and Kolton Scheeler had a great day with eight yellowfin tuna.
Captain Dale Lisi of the Foolish Pleasures had a great day for this crew, putting them on a white marlin release and some yellow tuna.
This family had a great trip on Wound Tight with Captain Shawn Gibson putting four yellow tuna in the fish box.
Captain Nick Sampson of MobSquad Fishing showed this group a great time with some yellowfin tuna and some blueline tilefish.
