I had the pleasure of joining Kelly from Delaware Paddle Sports, Bryan from Old Skool Tackle and Eddie from High Octane Custom Baits for a little snakehead fishing over on the Little Blackwater today and we had a great time. We were filming episode #400 for Hooked on OC and the guys gave me the goods to score my personal best snakehead AKA “Chesapeake Channa.” Was a beautiful day and should make for a great 400th episode of the show!
Last night, Dillon Scopp was fishing behind his house using his new Deadly Tackle spinning rod when he lucked into the first speckled trout that I’ve seen this season. Dillon looks as surprised as anyone!
Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters had another nice day of tog fishing with some stud fish to over 17 pounds. He also had a bird rescue sponsored by our friends at Hook Optics!
Captain DJ Churchill of Double Trouble has had some good fishing for tautog as well over his past couple of trips. Anglers on Double Trouble have had some nice blackfish to over 16 pounds.
