Nice Day on the Water

Nice Day on the Water

Check out the new Van Staal spinning reel available at Atlantic Tackle!

It was a nice warm, sunny day to be on the water today.  There was a breeze off the ocean when the tide started in, but it didn’t have much a negative impact on fishing.

I even got out for a few hours with Bryan Mindte of Sunset Provisions and had a nice time.  Bryan landed a snapper bluefish on a Roy Rig and then after I dropped him off at work….Sorry B!….I went and caught a very nice 31″ rockfish dredging the route 50 bridge.

Shaun Flaherty was fishing with Big Bird Cropper when he dredged up this big chopper bluefish at the rout 50 bridge.

Bobby Bell bought some Deadly Tackle Deadly Doubles in white at Sea Hawk Sports Center in Pocomoke and then used them to put he and his crew on five keeper flounder.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break had a nice couple of trips today.  The first was a flounder drift where he put his crew on six nice keepers and the second was a tautog drop where he put this angler on a keeper male.
