It’s not a common occurrence to get three fishable days in a row in January, and it’s even less of an occurrence that those three days are nice. The weather forecast this morning called for the wind to pick up and for seas to be ‘not so nice’. As you can see by the ocean in the background of the below photo it was pretty flat calm. Captain Monty Hawkins of the party boat Morning Star was out for his third day in a row and had a nice day of fishing. Captain Monty reported some limits of tautog around the rail and got this great shot of Manny Padron with a “fine pair of tautog.”
Morning Star is running all winter long weather permitting and has some trips scheduled that you can get on board. He’s added this Friday, January 20. Click here to find out how to get on board…..FishinOC.com/MorningStar Give them a call and tell ’em Fish in OC sent ya!
