It’s been a hot minute since I had a fishing report thanks to the wind that just won’t seem to stop blowing. We have had one terrible weather pattern lately with mostly northeast winds blowing hard and nonstop. It looks like we get a little reprieve starting next week and there’s plenty of great fishing left to go this season.
Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters had a day in the OC Inlet this morning! Captain Jason caught the tide just right and his party was rewarded with a bounty of awesome eating fish. They ended the day with a lineup of sheepshead to 9.5 pounds, keeper tautog, a pile of blowfish and another pile of spot and croaker. It was a great trip and there is more where this came from this fall.
