November Back Bay Tautog

By Scott Lenox

November Back Bay Tautog

You can definitely feel that it’s November outside nowadays with chilly temps and short days.  The wind has been a real issue so far this fall, but it let up enough today for some folks to get out and do some tautog fishing in Ocean City’s back bays.

Li Mu Bai was fishing the north jetty sea wall today using green crabs when he hooked into this really nice 19.5″ keeper tautog.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters is running trips through November and he’s finding tautog on a regular basis for his anglers.  Today it was four keeper fish and a black drum that was released.

Check out my most recent tog trip to the south jetty!
