The 38th Annual Charles Kratz & Scott Smith Challenge Cup was held this past Saturday with 25 boats registered for Ocean City and 24 boats registered for Cape May. It’s been several years since the Ocean City Marlin Club has held the Challenge Cup, but there was a tremendous effort put up by some Ocean City boats and the OCMC was able to capture the Challenge Cup and bragging rights for the year.

The total fish caught by the two clubs was impressive with 58 white marlin and one blue marlin being caught by the Cape May Marlin and Tuna Club and 126 white marlin and one blue marlin being caught by the Ocean City Marlin Club.
