It was another good day at the scales for the 29th Annual Ocean City Tuna Tournament at the Ocean City Fishing Center today as 48 boats fished leaving just over 40 boats left to fish tomorrow. There was some movement in the heaviest stringer category, we now have a three way tie for 2nd place largest tuna and there is a new leader in the junior angler category. Here’s what needs to be beat tomorrow to cash.

Outside of the tournament I got a cool submission through our Facebook page from Brandon Bentz with this cool shot of the Lisa’s catch. Captain Stu Windsor and mate Captain Dave Hagner had a good day boxing these beauties.
The bowfishing in the back bays of Ocean City has been phenomenal the past few days. Captain Marc Spagnola on Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing has been putting shooters on houndfish, southern rays and cow nosed rays during both day and night trips.
Captain John Prather on Ocean City Guide Service has been having good bowfishing as well during the day. Captain John is also putting shooters on some nice rays.
My buddies David Wells and Dylan Drew caught four nice keeper flounder in the east channel today. The fish were 16″, 16″, 18″ and 22″. Todd Martinek caught one throwback to defeat the private school team of Kevin McCabe and Brendan Hanley for cold, hard cash.
Bear from the Oceanic Pier in downtown Ocean City sent in a couple of nice fish caught today. Bobby from West Virginia caught a nice 20″ keeper flounder on the pier’s live minnows and Arian from Hayfield, PA caught a really nice black drum on the pier’s “lively” sand fleas.
