We had an absolutely miserable weather day today with rain almost all day long. There wasn’t too much fishing going on in weather like that, but I did get some reports from yesterday.
I fished the bay with Jeremy Kohr from Kohr’s Outdoors yesterday and we had a decent day with the flounder. We had several throwback fish and Jeremy caught his first ever keeper at just over 17″. We caught all fish on Deadly Doubles with Gulp and minnows.
Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported a slower sea bass bite yesterday, but his crew did put several nice flounder on deck.
OC Johnny and Bob Pino of Hook Optics had a nice day of flounder fishing behind Assateague Island putting some keepers in the boat. Johnny was using a combo of Deadly Doubles with Otter Tails, minnows and tangerine peel.
Anglers fishing on the Tortuga out of Bahia Marina had a great day with several keepers going in the fish box.
Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing had a nice night on the river putting his shooters on a good haul of southern and cow nosed rays.
