As forecast, it was miserable today. Strong winds of 20-30 out of the northeast, temperatures that didn’t get into the 60s and pouring down rain had most anglers wishing they were fishing. Kristen and I decided to grab the camera and make a new video of our very popular crab pie….and we added a killer recipe for margaritas at the same time. It was a great day to be inside. There were plenty of people at the Outlets in West Ocean City, but there weren’t many anglers out there at all. As a matter of fact, I was shocked at the one report that I did get today. Tomorrow’s weather doesn’t look as bad as it did a few days ago, so if you’re able to get out there make sure you send your catch in to [email protected] Happy Memorial Weekend!!
Kevin McNelis braved the harsh conditions today and fished the Assateague surf where he was rewarded with a very nice catch. Kevin not only caught a fish, he caught a nice 29″ keeper striper and surprised me with this photo.
