It was a beautiful sunny day today with blue skies and no precipitation, but the wind did puff up a little bit this afternoon. I hear that it got down right rough off in the canyons today and some boats started the troll home early to be that much closer to the beach. The party boat fleet was able to stick it out and fishing was good with plenty of flounder and sea bass, and some bonus mahi for some lucky anglers.
Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler had a good day of fishing today over ocean structure. He was able to put his anglers on some good bottom fishing for sea bass and flounder, and he even had several peanut sized mahi come over the rail to the delight of happy clients.

6 year old Connor Vaughn tagged along with his dad “Chef” today aboard the Morning Star with Captain Monty Hawkins and the little dude won the fish pool with a nice sea bass. Connor can be seen in the midst of some other anglers on the Star that had a good day with the sea bass.

Chris Robinson and his family had a great day of fishing with Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters when they mugged up some nice triggerfish on an inshore trip.

Amanda Ashburn’s 11-year old twins Dominic and Anthony Ward had an amazing week on the family boat while on vacation this past week each of them landing several keeper flounder.

Captain Cale Layton and mate Eastern Shore Joey Marowski put this gentleman on a nice keeper flounder aboard the Bay Bee this morning.

Lenny from the Bronx, NY caught this 21″ flounder on the Oceanic Pier this morning. Photo submitted by Bear.

Captain Marc Spagnola lent one of his shooters his lucky shirt and it worked like a charm as they put some nice southern rays in the Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing today.
