Pending Maryland State Record Caught

My buddy Finn McCabe caught a big white perch that has been weighed and certified, and is a new pending record for the species for the Atlantic coast of Maryland.  The big perch ate a jig with a “green twisty tail” in Ayres Creek and weighed 1.2 pounds.  I know 1.2 pounds doesn’t sound like a lot, but that’s a HUGE white perch!
