Today’s weather was way different than yesterday with cool temps, cloudy skies, wind and even some thick fog over the bay. It wasn’t too bad to go fishing, but there were definitely fewer folks out there because of it.
Captain Kane Bounds of the Fish Bound reported in that the ocean was sloppy today, but the fishing was ok and his crew had some luck. Anglers on board Fish Bound picked along all day for a limit of tautog with the largest fish going 13 pounds that Captain Kane coincidentally tagged four years ago.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break was out on the chilly, windy bay today and put this angler over a nice keeper flounder while fishing the south bay.

Noah from Kohr’s Outdoors and Julian had a nice day in the OC inlet putting three keeper tautog in the fish box using Deadly Tackle tog jigs and shrimp.
