Hit the above vid for the Daily Catch at Sunset Marina!
We had some really nice temperatures around today, unfortunately it was thanks to the strong breeze coming off the ocean. It was another day with not much happening on the Atlantic, but thankfully there was some good fishing around the OC Inlet and back bays.
Captain Dave Caffrey of On the Run had another very nice day at the OC Inlet on his trips today. Captain Dave put his anglers on loads of bluefish, stripers up to 36″, keeper sheepshead and even a keeper tautog. Tautog are back in season as of today and may be kept at 16″ with a limit of 2 / person.
Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters had a nice day in the inlet as well waiting for the flounder fishing to improve. Captain Jason had bluefish, rockfish and tautog for his anglers today as well.
Rich Daiker fished the route 50 bridge again this afternoon, and yet again found flounder up to 20″.
Pat and Dave Borrell had some luck in the West Channel this afternoon using Gulp for bait. They teamed up to box flounder of 18″ and 20″.
