It must have been a rough one for boats fishing day two of the Captain Steve Harman Poor Girls Open today. This morning wasn’t terrible onshore, but by this afternoon the wind was absolutely honking out of the south. Only 27 boats fished the second day of the tournament and that leaves 70 boats to fish tomorrow’s third and final day. The weather forecast is a little better for tomorrow so I’m sure all of the boats will be going and there are some really good crews left to fish so anything could happen. They are going to have their work cut out for them after Rhonda’s Osprey soared into first place with eight white marlin releases today…..here is the leaderboard after two days of fishing. Thanks again to Dave Messick of Hooked on OC for the great shots!

Captain Luke Blume and mate Jon Henry had another good day of fishing for the Poor Girls Open today. Captain Luke put his lady anglers on two white marlin releases including a first white marlin for Christina Alo.
In the bay there was a pretty good flounder bite on the outgoing tide. Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters found a couple of nice keepers north of the route 50 bridge on this morning’s trip.
Ocean City Guide Service with Captain John Prather had some luck on the outgoing tide this morning as well putting his crew on a nice fish for the box.
Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing had to deal with some windy conditions this afternoon, but he was still able to get it done. Captain Marc put his shooters on some nice action with cow nosed and southern rays.
