Hit the vid for the Daily Catch at Sunset Marina!
It was another beautiful summer day today with sunny skies, warm temps and light breezes and it was a great day to be on the water…..so I was. Kristen and I hit the bay for some flounder fishing where we had some throwbacks and then we enjoyed an awesome lunch at the Reel Inn at Harbor Island. The ocean was flat calm and there was some very good fishing out there for some.
The crew of the Boss Hogg with Captain Alex Beane at the helm was practicing for the OC Tuna Tournament and they caught a fish that they’re going to want to see again this weekend. The big 242 pound bigeye they landed would probably do some damage at the OC Fishing Center this weekend.

Jodie and Neal Ammerman fished their boat Hazel D in the Washington Canyon and found this nice 51 pound yellowfin tuna.

Captain Chris Mizruak of the Angler reported a very nice class of sea bass and a few flounder on today’s trip.

Anglers fishing on the Judith M out of Bahia Marina had a good day with some keeper sea bass coming over the rail.

Back bay fishing for flounder has been good on the clean water of the high tide the past few days. Yesterday Caleb Powell caught his limit of flatties using Gulp on Deadly Tackle Deadly Double rigs.

These keepers landed in the net of the Bayside Guide Service fishing out of Bahia Marina.

These anglers on the Calico Jack had a great day putting some keeper flounder in the box.

The Tortuga fishing out of Bahia Marina has had success lately with keeper flounder on just about every trip.
