Captain Jeff Coats of Pitboss Fishing has been having great luck with the throwback rockfish around the route 50 bridge in Ocean City lately, but today it was a road trip to fish the Tangier Sound with Karen in his charter fishing rig the Bad Influence. Captain Jeff reported windy conditions on the sound, but did put Karen on a nice rockfish that was just under 40″. The fish was caught on a 10″ white Bloody Point random rig in 30′ of water in the Tangier Sound.
Captain Monty Hawkins on the party boat Morning Star is reporting much improved tautog fishing recently and has opened up the book for April 30 and May 1. Check out the Morning Star Fish Report here.
