Traveling back from a cruise and entering the Chesapeake Bay this evening, I can tell you how rough it was in the ocean….REAL ROUGH! Bouncing from side to side while walking down the hall in a 900’+ cruise ship I could only think that nobody was leaving Ocean City inlet. My empty email box this evening proved my suspicion correct.
I received only one report and it was of some really cool news. Captain Jeff Coats of Pitboss Fishing has been having some good luck casting for bluefish and rockfish around the south jetty and route 50 bridge. This crew of anglers had a great day on board the Bad Influence with Captain Jeff with little 5 year old “T-Bone” even hooking a double header at one point.

Captain Jeff’s been doing well with the inshore species lately, but he made the catch of his lifetime on his sunset cruise this evening when he popped the question to his girlfriend Karen Langford Kelley and she said yes.

Congratulations to Captain Jeff and Karen!!
