As we move further and further into the fall there are going to be less and less boats on the water as fishing conditions get more challenging with shorter days and cooler temperatures. One boat that you will see on the water more than most is the Lost Time with my very good friend Big Bird Cropper. Bird will fish as long as the fish are around which is sometimes year round and today was no different. Big Bird and his friend Joey fished Bird’s world famous Roy Rig today and had good luck catching six flounder with one keeper and 31 rockfish that were all released. There are a few keeper rockfish around and more will be moving into the area as the water temperatures continue to cool and I guarantee that we’ll see Big Bird out there trying for them.
