Rockin’ The Bridge

Rockin’ The Bridge

We had a gorgeous weather day today with light winds, sunny skies and warm spring temps.  It was a great day to get out and do a little fishing…..which I did.  I hit the route 50 bridge for some catch and release rockfish action and had one fish just miss keeper size at 27″.  It was a beautiful evening to be on the water!

As I was heading to the fishing spot I passed by my buddy Bryan Mindte of Sunset Provisions and his brother-in-law Gary Finch and they held up a couple of keeper rockfish that they dredged up at the 50 bridge.  They also had some bluefish and several other short stripers that went back.

My main man Big Bird Cropper fished the route 50 bridge today as well where he had plenty of “schoolie” rockfish and this keeper that fell in the 28″ to 31″ slot.
