It was a beautiful day in Ocean City today with sunny skies, warm temperatures and light winds….finally!! It really was gorgeous today both on land and out in the ocean. The forecast for the next several days is for more of the same and the Memorial Day weekend coming up looks like a beauty. I expect lots of anglers to be getting out on the water and I hope they do well.
Today it was back to sea bassing for the local party boat fleet and it was good. The Angler with Captain Chris Mizurak reported good fishing with several boat limits around the rail with some fish up to 3.5 pounds and there were also a few tautog mixed in. The fish were caught on jigs and clam.
Wes Pollitt from the party boat Morning Star with Captain Monty Hawkins also called in to report some really good sea bass fishing. Wes reported that the Morning Star was just nine fish short of a boat limit today with the sea bass and they also released some tautog. The fish were caught on ocean reefs with jigs and clam.
If you’d like to get on board for some of this sea bass fishing while it’s good you can take a look at our party boat fleet here

The sun looks like it is going to be in the forecast for the next several days with some warm temperatures and it is a very welcome forecast! Thanks to Captain Jeff Coats of Pitboss Fishing for the nice sunset….I’m looking forward to seeing more of these over the next several days!
