Seaduckin’

Seaduckin’

The Maryland special seaduck season is in full swing right now even though it has been reduced from 107 days down to just 60 for 2016-2017.  The season runs from November 5, 2016 through January 13th, 2017.  The bag limit is 5 birds with no more than 4 surf scoter, black scoter, whitening scoter or long tailed duck otherwise known as “old squaw”.

We have three guides that run seaduck hunting trips in the Fish in OC fleet.  Captain Jeff Coats switches from Pitboss Fishing to Pitboss Waterfowl this time of year, and Captain John Prather of Ocean City Guide Service and Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing both run seaduck trips for the season.

Captain Jeff of Pitboss Waterfowl was on the water today with some customers that came all the way from Louisiana to get in on the awesome action that we can have out of Ocean City.  Thanks to Captain Jeff for the shots.
