It was sunny with nice temperatures and no precipitation today, but there was a pretty stiff breeze out of the northwest. Boats fishing in the ocean had a pretty rough time of it, but there were still some decent fishing to be had.
Captain Shawn Gibson of the Wound Tight had five white marlin today and four of the anglers were first time White marlin releasers.
Big Bird Cropper sent these photos of Shawn and Colby, who had a great day at the south jetty after kayaking over from the commercial harbor. The guys had some nice sheep’s head up to 22 inches.
