Sheepshead and Flounder in the Rain

Sheepshead and Flounder in the Rain

We got a little help with the drought today as rain poured from the sky this afternoon in and around Ocean City.  We’ve gotten well over 2″ of rain since it started last night and honestly, we could still use more.  Thankfully there was some fishing before the rain got bad and there were some nice fish put in the net.

Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters had a nice day in the ocean with some sea bass and bluefish, and Joe was on fire on the south jetty putting big sheepshead of 8 and 1o pounds in the fish box.

Captain Dave Caffrey of On the Run Charters had a nice day in the ocean this morning with eight keeper flounder and a few sea bass.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters was dodging rain drop in the back bay today and his folks found a few keeper flounder for Lake Crisco.
