We had a pretty nice day today at Harbor Day in the West Ocean City Commercial Harbor. It was sunny at times, temps were comfortable and the wind really wasn’t too bad. Thank you to everyone that stopped by to see us!! That pretty nice day is changing now and the northeast wind is starting to blow a little harder. By tomorrow at this time it will be a full on nor’easter. The Ocean City area is expecting high winds, heavy rain and the potential for some serious flooding so most everyone is taking extra precautions to keep themselves and their property safe. Tomorrow through tomorrow night will be a good time to stay in doors if you can. Be safe out there.
The weather was nasty in the ocean today, but it was doable in the Ocean City inlet where Captain Chase Eberle and the crew of Chasin’ Tides did some bottom fishing. Chasin’ Tides saw some great fishing on two trips today with a bunch of sheepshead going in the cooler.
Sean Hitchens and Brian Reynolds hit the OC Inlet this morning as well and had a nice day with some bluefish, tog and sheepshead. Brian had a nice bluefish over 11 pounds and Sean had a very nice 23″ sheepshead that he caught on a Deadly Tackle bottom jig.
