Talk about putting a hurting on the Rockfish!! Captain Mark Hoos and the Marli have been absolutely slamming the rockfish in Solomon’s Island the past few days!
Yesterday the Marli caught a limit and Captain Mark reports:
It was a fantastic bite on the charter boat MARLI with Captain Mark Hoos and Mate Mark Stephens fishing in Solomon’s MD on Tuesday May 5th. This crew had over 20 bites and caught their limit of Stripers on tandem rigs and umbrella rigs. And then in true Marli form, another limit today and this report from Captain Mark:
This group of anglers had an incredible day on the charter boat MARLI with Captain Mark Hoos and Mate Mark Stephens fishing in Solomon’s Maryland. They had 30+ bites and caught 20+ Chesapeake Bay Spring Trophy Rockfish on tandem and umbrella rigs. Their best 6 were all over 40″. The fish were all caught in 55-65′ of water in front of the gas docks.
