Today was officially day one of the 10th Annual HUK Big Fish Classic and although one boat did fish in the first window there were no fish brought to the scales. Tomorrow’s weather doesn’t look great offshore so this looks to be a Sunday/Monday weigh-in. Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler was able to get today’s trip in and though it was a little bumpy they were still able to get some fish in the boat. Sea bass were a little fussy, but there were some nice flounder caught by some lucky folks.
Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing had a some great shooting in the south bay today with some southern and cow nosed rays. He also put a longtime shooter on a jumbo butterfly ray.
