There weren’t a ton of boats out on the water today thanks to the northeast wind that showed back up. I fished the route 50 bridge for a while and caught a couple of throwback flounder and it was blowing a good 15-20 all afternoon. Things look ok midweek so get out there if you can.
Captain Tony Battista of Saltwater Adventures had another great bluefish bite at the route 50 bridge today. Ron Edwards and his daughter Piper from Snow Hill had some nice blues on artificial lures with nonstop action for about an hour midday.
