Maryland black sea bass seasons opens back up tomorrow after being closed since October 1 and the local party boat fleet couldn’t be happier. I saw Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler at the Ocean City Fishing Center today and he was looking forward to heading out to the sea bass grounds tomorrow….especially after getting his butt kicked on his long bluline tilefish trip.
Captain Chris did say the trip was worth it as they put a bunch of blueline tilefish and a couple of golden tilefish in the boat yesterday.

Captain Victor Bunting of the Ocean Princess took lead on the way home from the tilefish grounds yesterday and his anglers had plenty of fish as well.

Captain Kane Bounds of the Fish Bound had some good fishing during the sea bass closure with great catches of flounder for his anglers.

On Wednesday, October 9, Captain Chris Miller, Paul & Chuck Levee and Chip Raynor, all from Baltimore, aboard the private boat “FISHIZZLE” out of Sunset Marina, had an epic day with the yellowfin inshore. The largest fish was 76lbs.

Caleb Powell had some luck in the back bay putting three keeper flounder in the cooler using Deadly Tackle Deadly Doubles.
