We had a tale of two weathers in and around Ocean City today with this morning feeling like summer and this afternoon feeling like fall. Today started off beautiful with high temps in the low 80s, but around midday the wind switched to northeast and the fog and cool air blew in. Temps are now in the mid 50s and we’ve got some real cool weather coming mid week with highs not expected to get out of the 40s. That’s April on the Eastern Shore for you.
Speaking of the Eastern Shore, there has been some really good flounder fishing on the Eastern Shore of Virginia this week. Yesterday, Joey Marowski and Rachel Estremsky had a great day of flounder fishing in Chincoteague, VA where they had five keeper flounder to a big 26″ using Deadly Tackle Deadly Doubles.

Caleb Powell and the crew have been fishing the ESVA as well and they’ve had some very good fishing too. Two days in a row Caleb’s crew had four keeper flounder and then eight keeper flounder using Deadly Tackle Deadly Doubles and orange Gulp.

LeAndrea Feight was fishing with Jordan Helsel down at the Verrazano Bridge behind Assateague where they caught and released a bunch of schoolie sized rockfish.
Fisher Zimmerman and Ashton Evans had some fun catch and release rockfish action at the route 90 bridge and caught one keeper tog of 18” near the Commercial Harbor.
