We didn’t have a terrible weather day today, but it wasn’t the greatest either. The wind is gonna blow a little bit this weekend before laying out early next week so let’s hope the water in the back bay stays clean so these flounder keep snapping.
Flounder are continuing their move toward the OC inlet area as they prepare to head offshore for the winter and anglers are taking full advantage of the stack up. The east channel, the west channel and the route 50 bridge have been great spots this week for plenty of keeper flounder action. Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break got in on the action on both of his trips today with some nice keepers to as big as 5.75 pounds.

Striper fishing on the route 50 bridge especially at night has been on blistering fire as well. There were several keeper sized fish caught last night by the bridge crew and plenty of other fish released.

Mason Hetherington put his young crew on some fun rockfish action while fishing at night.
