Some Tautog and Rock in The Bays

Check out the wrap up vid from the 2023 OC Tuna Tournament!

I got an email first thing this morning that read, “22” flounder at Castaways, pink Gulp, gorgeous morning”.  Awesome news of the first flounder of the season in Ocean City…..the only problem?  No photo.  After a few emails back and forth I came to realize that this news came with little to no proof.  No photo, no witnesses and no fish.  I do believe that the angler caught the fish and released it, and had nobody else in the boat, and didn’t take a picture….but I’m not reporting it as the first fish of the 2024 OC flounder fishing season.  So if you’re going tomorrow or any day this week, the first “official” flounder will have to come with a photo in order for me to give you props.  Good luck if you go!!

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters is back on the water and running trips for the 2024 season and today he had a good one for his customers.  Captain Jason put his crew on some very good tautog fishing at the south jetty and it was smiles all around.

Will Poole and his crew had a nice day with the stripers at the route 90 bridge the other day releasing about 15 fish up to 25″.

Boats in the water and ready to go….check out the vid and Subscribe!
